We can either offer a standard event or build something to meet particular needs, budget and favoured activities. 'Dash & Splash' Days

Centred around the unique facilities at Friday Island these activity-based events are a cost effective promotional tool for either internal motivation, sales incentive or client hospitality. Activities are both land and water-based. They are designed to be run in teams of 6 to 10 and as such have a built in competitive element! Following activities and a whacky finale, teams return to Friday Island where drinks are served from the thatched pavilion and a short prize-giving takes place.

The emphasis is on fun, relaxation and having a good time.

For the winning team, it's champagne in the steamy hot tub. For the losing side, it's off to the Ducking Stool!

The Argonauts' Treasure Hunt

An event designed for up to 8 teams of 4 to 8 people in "ferocious" (?!) competition throughout the day, based upon land and water activities at Friday Island. The Treasure Hunt is a great way to have fun in teams. Each team, armed with a map and initial set of clues, needs to visit up to 10 locations in a well ordered circuit ...possibly! At each location they will have to complete a logical fun task, challenge or activity in order to gain further clues.

Suitable watercraft are supplied to each team to help them complete the tasks and recover the clues and treasure by exploring secret islands, traversing swamps by rope bridge, navigating the group through a forest obstacle course and other purpose built features.

Company Fun Days

The venue provides an ideal setting for a unique, action-packed fun day for employees, their families and children. We can host large events and have successfully entertained 5000 guests! With a wide variety of land and water-based activities there is something for everyone, from those who want to push their skills and ability to the limit to those who prefer to sit back and relax on the beach. All activities are supervised by our own instructors and life-guards to ensure everyone's safety throughout the event.

Friday Island Team Building and Team Training events are coupled to a series of team exercises available on-site at Friday Island or on a mobile basis. The exercises are adaptable and can be used to fulfil a variety of objectives:

• As the basis for Team Building, Leadership Development, Communications and Management Training courses.
• As a means of introducing and integrating new management personnel to their department or facilitating the set-up of a completely new team.
• As a catalyst to bring together two or more branches of the same organisation whose geographical separation weakens a close working relationship.

• What are you trying to achieve?
• How will you measure that achievement?
• What issues are we trying to resolve?

Whatever the activity, the team build days are always run with good humour, fun and a sense of purpose.
